Vilaboa hosts the 2025 Entroidos Meeting, a festival of tradition and joy.
The Asociación Cultural Cobres once again organizes the Entroidos Meeting, an event that brings together various groups of masks and traditions from Galicia, Castilla y León, and Portugal. The celebration starts at 1:00 p.m. with a vermouth at Chiringo de Deilán, followed by the official opening at 6:15 p.m., attended by the president of the Asociación Cultural Cobres, Mr. Martín Duarte, and the mayor of Vilaboa, Mr. César Poza.
From 6:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy a spectacular parade with performances by participating groups such as Madamas and Galáns from Entroido de Cobres, Veteranas del Entroido, Boteiros from Viana do Bolo, Caretos from Lazarim, and many more. The day continues with music by Fanfarria Furruxa and a night of concerts featuring Quinkillada, Boyanka Kostova, and Dj Charlie.
The Entroidos Meeting is a celebration that promotes the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage and the transmission of ancestral traditions in the region.
