The Entroido de Cobres will be one of the Galician representatives at the international festival “Identidades”, which will take place on August 1 and 2, 2025 in Fonni, a town in the interior of the island of Sardinia (Italy).
This will be the 8th edition of the festival, which will bring together traditional mask groups from various regions of Italy and from other European and American countries, in a large parade scheduled for Saturday, August 2 at 5:00 p.m. The participation of Cobres will be part of the Spanish delegation, alongside other traditional carnivals from Asturias, Cantabria, the Basque Country, Navarre, and Castile and León.
The event will be organized by the Urthos e Buttudos Cultural Association and will count on the collaboration of the Pro Loco di Fonni and the Museum of Pastoral Culture, hosting groups from France, Croatia, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Serbia, Hungary, Mexico, and India.
