On Saturday, 6 September 2025, Entroido de Cobres will be taking part in the Galician Traditional Carnivals Parade, held in Praza do Obradoiro in Santiago de Compostela and organised by the Xunta de Galicia. The event will begin at 12:30 PM in front of the Cathedral.
This annual parade brings together some of the most representative traditional carnivals in Galicia, offering a space to showcase and celebrate the region’s living heritage. The Entroido de Cobres delegation will include madamas, galáns and musicians from the Aires de Cobres band, who will parade in traditional costume and perform the distinctive music of this historic celebration.
Coordinated by the Asociación Cultural Cobres, this participation is part of the ongoing effort to promote and share a tradition officially recognised as a Cultural Heritage Asset and Tourist Festival of Interest in Galicia.
