Entroido de Cobres announces the winners of the 2026 Rooster Contest, an educational initiative aimed at primary and early-years pupils from schools in Vilaboa, designed to encourage creativity and awareness of carnival traditions.
The contest involved creating decorative ribbons used to dress the Entroido Rooster, inspired by the traditional costumes of madamas and galáns. All submitted works were included in the final decoration, highlighting the collective and inclusive spirit of the activity.
