Entroido de Cobres will celebrate the 8th edition of the Entroido Gathering on Saturday, 27 June 2026, a well-established event in Galicia’s cultural calendar that will once again turn Vilaboa into a meeting point for tradition, music and cultural heritage.
The day will begin at 1:00 pm with the traditional Entroidos Vermouth Gathering, held at Chiringo O Camarón (Deilán), featuring a presentation of traditional carnival groups and a dance workshop organised by the Cultural Association Cobres.
Later in the afternoon, from 6:15 pm, the official opening of the gathering will take place, hosted by Marci Varela, with institutional participation from the Cultural Association Cobres and the Town Council of Vilaboa.
At 6:30 pm, one of the most anticipated moments of the day will begin: the parade and performances of invited traditional carnival groups, where the madamas and galáns of Entroido de Cobres and the Entroido Veterans of Cobres will share the stage with other traditional carnival expressions from different regions.
